ROMANIAN WHITEWOOD SAWN TIMBER – KILN DRIED AND AIR DRIED
Square edged spruce and fir, rough sawn, for construction, shuttering, packaging and furniture frames. Buyers in Europe know it as European whitewood; in the Gulf and North Africa it is simply Romanian whitewood. In North American terms it is softwood lumber: spruce boards and planks, and silver fir lumber.
Three conditions
Kiln dried (KD), 8–12 % moisture – kiln-dried lumber for interior work, furniture frames and long sea transit.
Air dried (AD), 18–20 % moisture – air dried lumber for construction timber and shuttering.
Fresh sawn, anti-stain treated – for packaging and short delivery routes.
